김윤호 교수는 Texas A&M 대학교에서 전기공학전공으로 박사학위를 받았으며 뉴욕주립대학교와 서울대학교 공과대학 전기공학과에서 전기공학전공으로 석사와 학사 학위를 받았다.

김윤호 교수는 전력전자학회, 대한전기학회, IEEE 서울 지부, 전력기기 연구회 등의 활발한 활동을 통해 국내 전력전자 기술 연구 및 발전을 도모해왔으며, 산학간의 기술적 교류를 확대시키는 데에도 힘써왔다.

현재 김윤호 교수는 중앙대학교 전자전기공학부 교수로 재직 중이다.

Professor Yoon-Ho Kim obtained his Doctor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, majoring in electrical engineering. He also holds a Master of Science degree from the state university of New York and a Bachelor of Science degree from Seoul National University.

Professor Kim has promoted Korean power electronics technology and development through numerous institutes like the Korean Institue of Power Electronics, the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers, the Power Electronics Chapter of IEEE in Seoul and the Electric Power Equipment Organization.

Currently Professor Kim lectures on power electronics at Chung-Ann University

필립 신 , 인터내셔널 렉티파이어 (IR) 필드 애플리케이션 수석 엔지니어

필립 신은 인터내셔널 렉티파이어 (IR) 아시아태평양 필드 엔지니어 그룹의 필드 애플리케이션 수석 엔지니어로 근무하고 있다.

그는 2003 년도부터 인터내셔널 렉티파이어 (IR) 에서 컴퓨터 및 커뮤니케이션 부문 필드 애플리케이션 엔지니어로 근무하였으며 , 2005 년도에 수석 엔지니어로 승진하였다 .

3 년 반 동안 다수의 디자인 프로젝트에 참여하였다 . 특히 삼성과 LG 연구개발부서의 엔지니어들과 함께 PDP 및 LCD TV, 랩톱 PC 등 다양한 전원 공급 애플리케이션 개발을 진행하였다 .

2005 년에 핍립은 TV 의 역률 보상회로 (PFC, Power Factor Correction) 제품을 위한 새로운 시장이 열리게 될 것으로 믿었다 . 그는 시장영역 확대와 함께 지난해 IR 이 일본에서 큰 성장을 거두는데 한 몫을 하였다 .

필립은 2006 년 “ BUS and POL converter in telecommunications ’ power supply with ZVS Full Bridge ”를 주제로 한양대학교에서 전기전자 석사학위를 받았다 .

Philip Shin is working in the position of Senior Field Application Engineer at Asia Pacific’s Field Application Engineer (FAE) organization for International Rectifier.

Philip joined International Rectifier in 2003 as Field Application Engineer at Computer and Communications Sector. He was promoted to the current position in 2005.

With over three and a half years with International Rectifier, Philip co-developed many successful design projects. These include projects in which Philip worked with engineers at Samsung and LG in the Research & Development Department. These projects range from PDP, LCD TV and laptop PCs adaptors to various power supplies applications.

In 2005, Philip successfully discovered a brand-new application market for Power Factor Correction (PFC) product in TV that had brought to International Rectifier new business growth and one of the new revenue sources in Japanese market from 2005 onwards.

Philip holds a Master degree of Electronic Engineering from Han Yang University in Korea with a paper on “BUS and POL converter in telecommunications’ power supply with ZVS Full Bridge” in 2006.

Philip graduated from Han Yang University in 1998 and began his career at DongAh Elecomm Research & Development Center for over five years as the Power Supply Design Engineer who developed various power supplies for AC-DC and DC-DC from small watts to 6.7kW for Telecom Power.

김홍모 차장은 1993년 순천향 대학교 전자공학과를 졸업하였다.

1996년부터 2000년까지 Sanken Electric Korea에서 근무하였으며, 2000년부터 2002년까지 IPT (인피니언의 디자인하우스)에서 어플리케이션 엔지니어로 근무하였다.

2002년 ST에 마케팅 엔지니어로 입사하였으며 현재 ST 대중국 및 아태 지역 소속 어드밴스드 마케팅으로 근무하고 있다.

Hong Mo Kim received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1993 from Soonchunhyang University.

He worked for Sanken Electric Korea from 1996 to 2000 and IPT (Design house of Infineon) from 2000 to 2002 as an application engineer.

Hong Mo Kim joined ST in 2002 as a Marketing Engineer, and now works in the Advanced Marketing Group serving Greater China and the Asia Pacific.

홍석준 씨는 1993 년 서울대학교 전기공학과를 졸업하고 , 1995 년 동대학원에서 전기공학 ( 전력전자전공 ) 석사학위를 받았다 .

2001 년부터 인터네셔널 렉티파이어 (IR) 모터 구동 제어 IC 개발부 수석 연구원으로 근무해 왔으며 , 현재 디지털 컨트롤 IC& 모션 파워 모듈 디자인 센터의 엔지니어링 매니저로 재직 중이다 .

IR 에 입사하기 전에는 LG 산전에서 엔지니어로 일한 경험이 있다 .

Seok Joon Hong received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1993 from Seoul National University and a M.S. degree in electrical engineering (specialized in power electronics) in 1995, also from Seoul National University.

Seok Joon joined International Rectifier (IR) in 2001 as a senior electrical engineer where he is involved in the development of motor drive control ICs. Currently, he is an engineering manager in Digital Control IC & Motion Power Module Design Center.

Prior to joining IR he worked for LG Industrial Systems in Korea.
